What the account is

The Fribbynetwork account lets you sign in to all the sites of the network with the same email and password. It also gathers in one place your settings, your support requests and, when they arrive, your subscriptions.

The account is free. Subscriptions and purchases, when they arrive, also follow the terms of sale, with the right of withdrawal: no payment starts unless you choose it.

The service is offered by the owner named in the privacy notice.

Who can sign up

• People who are at least 14 years old, the age required in Italy to use online services on your own; if it is higher in your country, that age applies.
• With an email address of your own that you can read: that is where the confirmation, password recovery and messages about your account arrive.
• One account per person: do not create accounts to get around limits or blocks.

The security of your account

You are the one who keeps your password safe: do not give it to anyone and do not use it on other sites too. We recommend turning on two-step verification (2FA) or a passkey, from “Password, 2FA and passkeys”.

If you think someone has signed in instead of you, change your password at once and write to support: we can close all open sessions.

How to use it

Use the account and the sites of the network properly. In particular you may not:

• create accounts or sign in with automated programs;
• get around the “I’m not a robot” box;
• try to get into other people’s accounts or into the parts of the sites that are not for you;
• overload the servers, look for their weak points or get around limits and blocks;
• use the sites for illegal activities or to harm other people.

Each site of the network has its own rules for what you do there (for example the gat.to terms for links): they apply together with these.

Suspension and closure

If an account is used against these rules we may suspend or close it and remove its rights or its access to the sites. When we can, we write to you first to explain why; in serious cases or to stop ongoing harm we act at once and write to you afterwards. In any case you get an email with the reason, which you can answer by writing to info@fribbynetwork.net.

A suspended account cannot sign in to any site until we reactivate it; a closed account is deleted as if you had deleted your profile yourself.

An account that is never confirmed (with the email not verified) is deleted automatically after 7 days.

Deleting your profile

You can delete your profile whenever you like, from your personal page: we send you a link by email and, once you confirm it, the account disappears together with what the portal knows about you, as the privacy notice explains.

The links you created on gat.to are often used by others, for example in school materials: when you delete your profile you choose whether to keep them working without your name or delete them. Links kept without a name follow the gat.to rules for anonymous links; the addresses of deleted links stay blocked for a while (currently 90 days) before becoming available to others.

Operation and liability

We do our best to keep the account and the sites always working; for the free service, however, we cannot guarantee that there will never be interruptions. The status of the services, with past interruptions and upcoming maintenance, is at up.fribbynetwork.net.

We carry out routine maintenance in the evening or at night and as quickly as possible; when we can, we announce it beforehand on the portal and on the sites.

For free services there is no compensation, discount or refund for interruptions; for subscriptions and purchases the terms of sale apply.

We are liable for the service within the limits set by law. We are not liable for damage caused by use of the account against these rules, by a password not kept safe or by causes beyond our control.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes, law and contacts

If we change these terms, the date at the top of the page changes; for important changes we write to you before they take effect: if you do not agree you can delete your profile.

Italian law applies and, if you are a consumer, the courts of the place where you live.
